The PMC Motorsport short shifter is engineered for precise and rapid gear shifting, specifically for BMW E30 and E34 models across all body types. It is compatible with all manual transmissions from GETRAG and ZF, including the Getrag 250, 260, 420, and ZF models GS5 GS6.

Designed for plug-and-play installation, this short shifter requires no modifications to the vehicle's tunnel structure. Constructed from high-grade aluminum, the shifter offers a combination of lightweight durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring long-term functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The shifter lever is equipped with an M20x1.5 threaded end and features replaceable anodized aluminum knobs for user customization.

Additionally, an adjustable selector rod is available to facilitate gearbox swaps, compatible with all BMW manual gearboxes. This includes:

• ZF models: GS5-39DZ, GS6-37 DZ/BZ, GS6-53 DZ/BZ, GS6-45 DZ/BZ
• Getrag models: 250, 260, 420

The adjustable selector rod allows for versatile length adjustments, accommodating various configurations in vehicles transitioning to BMW manual gearboxes. Please note, the adjustable selector rod is not part of the short shifter kit and must be purchased separately.

For optimal performance, professional installation is recommended, particularly for motorsport applications. It is advisable to install stiffer gearbox and engine mounts to reduce drivetrain movement. Prior to installation, ensure the gear selector rod is thoroughly cleaned, and apply grease to the shifter's lower bushing for smooth operation.
