The PMC Motorsport Adapter Kit facilitates the integration of Toyota JZ 1JZ and 2JZ engines with BMW manual transmissions, specifically the ZF GS6-53DZ 6-speed models. It is designed for both amateur and professional motorsport applications, enabling the conversion from automatic to BMW manual transmissions in vehicles such as the BMW E30, E36, E46, E34, E39, E90, E91, E92, E60, E61, E81, E82, E87, and other vehicles like the Nissan S13, S14, S15, PS13, or Mazda RX-7/RX-8.

The kit features a flywheel constructed from aluminum and cast iron, pre-balanced for optimal performance. It includes a replaceable friction surface and supports a clutch shaft pilot bearing to reduce vibrations. Note that the flywheel mandates the use of the automatic Toyota JZ ring gear/flywheel, which is not provided in this kit.

Manufactured in the EU from certified materials using advanced CNC technology, the adapter ensures precise coaxiality for a perfect fit between the engine and transmission. It is compatible with both non VVT-i and VVT-i versions of Toyota 1JZ and 2JZ engines and matches BMW ZF S6-53 GS6-53DZ transmissions, including specific models from BMW E46 330D and E60 530D.

The kit, suitable for motorsport, daily driving, and drifting applications, includes:

The flywheel, measuring 184mm/7.25" in diameter, is ultralight for racing purposes, and the recommended clutch pressure plates are the Tilton OT-II Cerametallic Pressure Plates (7.25" Twin or Triple disc).

Designed to withstand high torque, the adapter kit supports a maximum torque capacity of 900Nm/663.58 lb⋅ft. The gearbox adapter has a thickness of 20mm/0.78", and the flywheel weighs 3.1 kg/6.83 lbs. It is imperative that the flywheel is secured with a torque of 72Nm/53.1 ft·lb, with the use of adhesive.
