The custom aluminum flywheel by PMC Motorsport is engineered to facilitate the integration of the Nissan RB series engines—specifically RB20, RB25, RB26, and RB30 variants—with the BMW ZF manual gearbox series. This flywheel is precision-balanced prior to dispatch and includes a pilot bearing for the input shaft to reduce vibrations effectively. It is equipped with a replaceable friction surface, allowing for straightforward substitution of the worn cast iron component. Constructed from aluminum with a cast iron friction surface, the flywheel is fully recyclable. Installation requires the ring gear/flywheel from the automatic Nissan RB configuration, which is not supplied in the kit.
