The Self-Centering Short Shifter, compatible with BMW manual transmissions, is engineered specifically for use with all manual GETRAG and ZF gearboxes, including models such as Getrag 250, 260, 420, and ZF5, GS6, GS6.

Fabricated from high-quality aluminum, this shifter offers a combination of durability, minimal weight, and resistance to corrosion. It incorporates self-lubricating bushings to reduce friction and a centering spring mechanism that automatically positions the lever in the 3-4 gear plane, facilitating quick and accurate gear shifts.

Designed to enhance safety and driving comfort, the shifter includes an extreme gear lock mechanism, which prevents accidental engagement of extreme gears (1, 2, 5, 6). The ergonomic reverse gear latch is engineered to simplify the engagement of the reverse gear, thereby improving vehicle control. The lever is threaded with M20x1.5, and anodized aluminum knobs are available for replacement.

An adjustable selector rod, available separately, is designed for gearbox swaps and is compatible with all BMW manual gearboxes, including ZF and Getrag models. This rod provides flexible length adjustment, allowing for adaptation to various vehicle setups and ensuring precise, dynamic gear shifting when paired with PMC Motorsport short shifters.
