Recommended components include a Sachs XTend clutch pressure plate (3000 951 952 for M57N M57N2) or Sachs Performance (88 308 200 1243 / 883082.001243), with a 240mm / 9.45" clutch disc dedicated for the gearbox. The spline type is 32.5x35-26N, with a 26-count spline. A release bearing, clutch fork, and clutch slave cylinder specific to the gearbox are necessary. The required starter model is BMW M70 OE 21 51 1 223 302 or BMW M70 OE 12 41 1 720 246, and the flexplate/ring gear/drive plate needed is BMW M70 V12 OE 11 22 1 715 646.
