The PMC Motorsport aluminum clutch kit adapter facilitates the integration of GM Chevrolet V8 engines, including LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, and Vortec models, with a manual ZF transmission (ZF Friedrichshafen) from BMW. Designed for applications in BMW models such as E30, E36, E46, E34, E39, E90, E91, E92, E60, E61, E81, E82, E87, and for B58 and S58 engine swaps, this kit is also compatible with vehicles like the Nissan S13, S14, S15, PS13, and Mazda RX-7 / RX-8.
The kit comprises a custom flywheel combining aluminum and cast iron, pre-balanced for optimal performance. The flywheel features a replaceable friction surface and supports a maximum torque of 650Nm (479.25 lb⋅ft). The clutch assembly includes the Sachs XTend 3000 951 952, a self-adjusting mechanism, along with a clutch disc, release bearing, clutch fork, and a clutch slave cylinder tailored to your transmission. The adapter ensures precise alignment between the engine and transmission, with a gearbox adapter thickness of 35mm (1.37"). Professional installation is recommended, and the flywheel must be tightened to 80Nm (59 lb⋅ft) using adhesive.
