PMC Motorsport offers a lightweight custom aluminum flywheel engineered to facilitate the connection of Toyota JZ series engines, including:

• 1JZ
• 1JZ-FSE
• 1JZ-GE
• 1JZ-GTE
• 2JZ
• 2JZ-FSE
• 2JZ-GE
• 2JZ-GTE (both non VVT-i and VVT-i models)

to BMW manual transmissions. Specifically, it is compatible with the 5-speed ZF S5D-280Z gearbox found in BMW M47 E39 520D and E46 230D Diesel models.

The flywheel features a diameter of 240mm (9.45 inches) and a weight of 5.00 kg (11.02 lbs). It includes a replaceable friction surface composed of cast iron. Installation necessitates the use of a gearbox adapter (F0BMW-JZ).

Prior to dispatch, the flywheel is balanced and is supplied with:

• a clutch cover
• pressure plate bolts kit
• crankshaft bolts kit
• flywheel centering sleeve
• a custom clutch fork pivot pin/ball

For optimal performance, it is recommended to pair this flywheel with Sachs Performance 88 308 200 1243 or Sachs XTend 3000 951 877 (BMW M57) clutch pressure plates. The construction utilizes both aluminum and cast iron materials, and the flywheel bolts require a tightening torque of 72Nm, supplemented by adhesive, to ensure secure installation.
