The PMC Motorsport Adapter Kit for Toyota UZ engines is engineered to facilitate the integration of Toyota Lexus V8 UZ 1UZ-FE and 3UZ-FE engines with ZF GS5-39DZ 5-speed manual transmissions, predominantly employed in BMW vehicles.

This kit is compatible with a range of BMW models including:

It is also adaptable for use in Nissan models (S13, S14, S15, PS13) and Mazda RX-7 / RX-8.

The kit comprises:

• A custom flywheel fabricated from aluminum and cast iron, featuring a replaceable friction surface, and designed to maintain precise coaxiality between the engine and transmission.
• An aluminum gearbox adapter
• Gearbox adapter bolts
• Clutch cover-pressure plate bolts kit
• Clutch fork support/pivot pin
• Crankshaft bolts kit

This ensures optimal performance and reliability, particularly under the demanding conditions of motorsport applications such as drifting, where ZF transmissions are favored for their robustness and cost-effectiveness (withstanding torque up to 1000Nm+).

The flywheel, balanced prior to dispatch, requires the ring gear from an automatic Toyota UZ, which is not included. A clutch shaft pilot bearing is incorporated to reduce vibrations.

Installation requires a dedicated release bearing, clutch fork, and clutch slave cylinder. The starter should be Toyota UZ (OE), and a flexplate/ring gear/drive plate with a spacer is also necessary.
