Stage 2 Toyota JZ Mazda RX 8 SWAP 240mm 9 45 F

The PMC Motorsport Stage 2 Adapter Kit facilitates the integration of Toyota JZ engines, encompassing both 1JZ and 2JZ variants (non VVT-i and VVT-i), with a Mazda RX-8 manual transmission. This adapter kit is engineered for compatibility with 5-speed and 6-speed manual gearboxes of the Mazda RX-8, and is suitable for both routine and competitive driving scenarios, including drifting.

The kit includes an aluminum adapter to ensure precise alignment between the Toyota JZ engine and the Mazda RX-8 gearbox. It requires the use of a flywheel/ring gear from the automatic version of the Toyota 1JZ/2JZ, with a spacer (OE 32116-22020, 4.5mm) necessary between the engine block and the ring gear. The original Toyota JZ starter is maintained in this setup.

A centering sleeve is provided to substitute the bearing in the crankshaft hub for the automatic JZ version. The clutch assembly features a Ford Kuga 23x26-23N clutch kit with a 23-spline count.

Components included in the adapter kit are:

• Custom flywheel
• Clutch cover-pressure plate bolts kit
• Crankshaft bolts kit
• Clutch fork support/pivot pin

The gearbox adapter has a thickness of 20mm (0.78"). The flywheel requires tightening to 72Nm (53.1 ft-lb) with adhesive. The kit incorporates a replaceable friction surface for extended usability.

Manufactured in the EU, the product adheres to the quality standards set by the ISO PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 certification.
