CNC71 Billet Driveshaft Center Support Bearing BMW E36/E46

The CNC71 billet driveshaft centre support replaces the flexible factory rubber mounting used on BMW E36 and E46 models. It keeps the centre bearing firmly aligned under abrupt drivetrain loads, helping to eliminate movement caused by worn or deflected rubber.

Important installation information

• Check differential alignment and the condition of all drivetrain mounts.
• Press the bearing onto the shaft using a 38 mm sleeve and apply force only to the inner bearing race.
• Confirm that the driveshaft rotates freely during and after installation.
• Align the engine, differential and driveshaft assembly before final tightening.
• Tighten the centre support last.

When the drivetrain is fitted with rigid bushings, CNC71 recommends a new original-style rubber guibo to protect gearbox longevity. A balanced driveshaft is also recommended.
