The PMC Motorsport adapter facilitates the integration of BMW M50, M52, M54, S50, S52, S54 engines with a 6-speed manual ZF GS6-53BZ gearbox sourced from BMW N54 models such as the 135i, 335i, and 535i.

The flywheel included in this kit weighs 5700g (12.9lb), offering a 70% reduction in weight compared to the original, thereby enhancing engine responsiveness to throttle inputs. This component is specifically engineered for motorsport applications and necessitates installation by experienced professionals utilizing specialized tools in suitably equipped workshops.

The installation process is predominantly straightforward, though it requires modification of the two upper holes on the GS6-53BZ gearbox to ensure precise fitment. This modification does not compromise the alignment of the engine and gearbox.

The flywheel is compatible with the Sachs Performance 883082.001243 clutch pressure plate, designed for M57N, M57N2, N54, and B58 engines. It is critical to ensure that the selected custom clutch pressure plate is also compatible with the BMW OE flywheel for these engines. Installation requires a clutch disc with the correct spline configuration, along with a suitable release bearing kit and slave cylinder.

The clutch kit includes a self-adjusting mechanism, clutch disc, release bearing, and clutch fork. The installation retains the use of the BMW OE starter from the M50, S50, M52, S52, M54, and S54 engines.
