The custom aluminum flywheel by PMC Motorsport is engineered to connect the Nissan SR series engines, including SR20, SR20DE, and SR20DET, to the BMW Getrag/ZF manual gearbox. It is specifically compatible with the ZF GS5-39DZ 5-speed transmission, commonly found in BMW M57 engines, such as the E39 530D, 525D, and E46 330D models.
The flywheel features a diameter of 240mm (9.45 inches) and incorporates a replaceable friction surface crafted from cast iron. Prior to dispatch, it is meticulously balanced to ensure optimal performance.
Included in the package are:
The primary material is aluminum, while specific components utilize cast iron. Installation necessitates a gearbox adapter (F0BMW-SR), and the flywheel bolts require a tightening torque of 72Nm with adhesive.
This flywheel is suitable for both everyday vehicles and high-performance motorsport applications, providing exceptional durability and reliability. The recommended clutch pressure plates are the Sachs Performance 88 308 200 1243 and the Sachs XTend 3000 951 877 (BMW M57). The appropriate clutch disc is the BMW ZF GS5-39DZ 5-speed 28X35-10N [240mm / 9.45"], with the release bearing, clutch fork, and clutch slave cylinder tailored for the specified gearbox.
A starter for the Nissan SR (OE) and a flexplate/ring gear/drive plate for the Nissan SR Automatic are required but not included in the package.
Manufactured in Poland, all components undergo rigorous testing and quality assurance, adhering to the ISO PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 standards.
