Flywheel Saab H BMW M57 GS5 39DZ 240mm 9 45

The PMC Motorsport custom aluminum flywheel is engineered to adapt Saab H series engines, specifically the B204, B205, B234, and B235 models, to the BMW Getrag/ZF manual gearbox.

Each flywheel is precision-balanced prior to dispatch and incorporates a clutch shaft pilot bearing to support the clutch shaft, reducing vibrations. The design features a replaceable friction surface, permitting the straightforward removal and replacement of the worn cast iron surface.

This flywheel is compatible with:

• Saab H, B204, B205, B234i, and B235R engines
• ZF S5-39 GS5-39DZ 5-speed transmissions, including the ZF GS5-39DZ models THBA, THBM, THBG, THBK, and THBC

These transmissions are commonly found in BMW M57 E39 530D, 525D, and E46 330D models. Installation necessitates the use of a ring gear/flywheel from the automatic Saab H, which is not included in the package.

Constructed from aluminum and cast iron, the flywheel weighs 5.45 kg (12.01 lbs).

The kit includes:

• Clutch cover pressure plate bolts kit
• Crankshaft bolts kit
• Custom clutch fork pivot pin/ball
• Custom flywheel

The specified tightening torque for flywheel bolts is 72Nm with adhesive application.

Recommended clutch pressure plates include:

• Sachs Performance 88 308 200 1243
• Sachs XTend 3000 951 877 (BMW M57)

The clutch disc is suited for BMW ZF GS5-39DZ 5-speed 28X35-10N [240mm / 9.45"].

Additional components required for installation include:

• Release bearing
• Clutch fork
• Clutch slave cylinder
• Starter
• Flexplate/ring gear/drive plate, all of which should be specific to your gearbox
