The PMC Motorsport Lightweight Custom Aluminum Flywheel is engineered for compatibility with Mercedes-Benz M113 and M156 AMG engines, facilitating integration with BMW ZF manual gearboxes. It is specifically designed to fit the following gearbox models:

This flywheel features a replaceable cast iron friction surface and undergoes balancing prior to shipment. Installation necessitates the PMC Motorsport gearbox adapter plate.

This flywheel is suitable for high-power vehicles utilized in both daily driving and motorsport contexts, delivering robustness and reliability to manage high torque outputs. Manufactured from certified materials using CNC machining processes, this component ensures precision and quality, holding an ISO PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 certification. Originating from the EU, it guarantees seamless alignment with both engine and gearbox.

Installation requirements specify the use of the flywheel/ring gear from the automatic transmission version, while retaining the original gearbox’s bearing and clutch fork. A guide tube shortening is necessary, specifically BMW OEM part 23 11 7 501 71. The recommended clutch set includes a Tilton OT-II Cerametallic Pressure Plate along with dedicated clutch components suitable for the gearbox. This flywheel is configured for a 184mm / 7.25" clutch setup.
