The PMC Motorsport Aluminum Short Shifter is engineered specifically for BMW E36 and Z3 models across all body types, providing enhanced precision and speed in gear shifting.

Compatible with all manual transmissions from GETRAG and ZF, this includes models such as:

• Getrag 250
• Getrag 260
• Getrag 420
• ZF5 GS6 GS6

The short shifter is designed for Plug and Play (P&P) installation, eliminating the need for modifications to the vehicle's tunnel structure. Constructed from premium-grade aluminum, the shifter offers both durability and lightweight performance, with inherent corrosion resistance to ensure lasting aesthetic appeal and functionality.

The shifter lever incorporates an M20x1.5 thread and comes with replaceable anodized aluminum knobs. An adjustable selector rod is available separately, facilitating gearbox swaps and adaptable to all BMW manual gearboxes, including ZF and Getrag configurations. This rod allows users to adjust the length to suit various setups.

Installation is recommended for professional environments, emphasizing the use of stiffer gearbox and engine mounts to reduce drivetrain movement. Prior to installation, ensure the gear selector rod is cleaned and the shifter's lower bushing is properly lubricated with grease.
