The PMC Motorsport Adapter Kit facilitates the integration of Toyota Lexus V8 UZ engines, specifically the 1UZ and 3UZ models, with the manual gearboxes of Mazda RX-8 vehicles. This kit is engineered for both everyday use and competitive motorsport scenarios, such as drifting. Constructed from precision-machined aluminum, the adapter ensures precise alignment between the engine and transmission components.

Included in the kit are:

• A gearbox adapter plate
• A custom flywheel
• A clutch cover
• A set of pressure plate bolts
• A set of crankshaft bolts

The flywheel is a single-disc type with a diameter of 240mm (9.45 inches). It necessitates the use of the flywheel/ring gear from the engine's automatic variant and requires a spacer between the engine block and the ring gear, which is not supplied with the kit. The original Toyota UZ starter is retained.

The recommended clutch configuration involves utilizing a BMW M57 M57N N54 E46 M3 clutch pressure plate and a clutch disc from the LUK 624 3297 09 - LUK 324 0430 10 set, which are not included in this kit.

Manufactured within the EU, the kit employs certified materials and state-of-the-art CNC machining processes. Each component undergoes rigorous inspection and is uniquely engraved with a Seriesl production number, with quality assurance verified by the ISO PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The adapter has a thickness of 20mm (0.78 inches), and the flywheel should be secured with a torque of 72Nm (53.1 ft·lb) using adhesive. The friction surface of the flywheel is replaceable.

For installation, additional components required are a dedicated release bearing and clutch fork for the gearbox, and the original equipment Toyota UZ starter. The necessary flexplate/ring gear/drive plate is Toyota Lexus OE 32101-50010, accompanied by a spacer OE 32116-50010 (4.5mm) positioned between the engine block and the flexplate.
