The PMC Motorsport Adapter Kit facilitates the integration of Saab H engines (B204, B205, B234, B235) with the ZF Friedrichshafen GS6-53DZ 6-speed manual transmission from BMW. This kit is specifically engineered for motorsport applications, providing a robust connection between the engine and the gearbox.

The package includes:

• A custom aluminum flywheel measuring 240mm (9.45 inches) with an interchangeable friction disc, compatible with the BMW M57/M57n/N54 or BMW E46 M3 pressure plates.
• An aluminum gearbox adapter.
• All necessary gearbox adapter bolts.
• A custom flywheel.
• Clutch cover - pressure plate bolts kit.
• Crankshaft bolts kit.

It is important to note that this adapter kit is not suitable for use with M50/M52/M54/S50/E36 M3 engines.

The GS6-53DZ transmission is renowned for its high torque capacity exceeding 1000Nm, making it highly suitable for performance vehicles. The transmission features the following gear ratios:

• 1st - 5.080
• 2nd - 2.804
• 3rd - 1.260
• 4th - 1.27
• 5th - 1.0
• 6th - 0.835
• Reverse - 4.607

The adapter thickness is 25mm (0.98 inches) and features a replaceable friction surface. Saab-compatible engines require the engine block cover Saab OE 55557715. The manual transmission compatibility extends to BMW ZF (ZF Friedrichshafen) S6-53 GS6-53DZ models bearing HGU and HGK codes.

For optimal performance, the recommended clutch pressure plates are:

• Sachs XTend 3000 951 952 (M57N M57N2)
• Sachs Performance 88 308 200 1243 / 883082.001243

The clutch disc is crafted for a 240mm (9.45 inches) diameter with a spline specification of 32.5x35-26N and a 26 spline count. The dedicated release bearing, clutch fork, and clutch slave cylinder are designed for compatibility with the gearbox, while retaining the OE Saab H starter. The flexplate/ring gear/drive plate necessary is sourced from the Saab H automatic version.
