PMC Motorsport has developed an adapter kit engineered to facilitate the integration of GM Chevrolet V8 LS series engines, including LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, and Vortec variants, with BMW manual transmissions, specifically the GETRAG 420 6-speed gearbox present in the BMW E46 S54 M3. This adapter kit is engineered for both regular and motorsport use, such as drifting and time attack competitions.

The adapter kit is compatible with GM Chevrolet V8 LS engines and various BMW E series models including:

• E30
• E36
• E46
• E39
• E60
• E61
• E90
• E92
• E81
• E82

along with newer F and G models.

The kit includes:

• An aluminum clutch kit
• A flywheel
• A gearbox adapter plate
• All requisite mounting hardware

The flywheel is pre-balanced and features a replaceable friction surface, supporting a maximum torque of 900Nm (663.58 lb⋅ft) with a 184mm (7.25") flywheel. The gearbox adapter plate measures 35mm (1.37") in thickness. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use the Tilton OT-II Cerametallic Pressure Plate and a corresponding clutch disc for the 184mm (7.25") configuration.

This adapter kit ensures precise alignment between the engine and gearbox and is constructed from certified materials, manufactured within the EU to meet rigorous quality standards. It is particularly suited for high-performance projects, providing exceptional durability and reliability, leveraging the robust BMW ZF/Getrag gearboxes renowned for their high torque capacity in professional motorsport applications.

Note that the kit excludes the starter motor, which should remain the original Chevrolet LS component, and necessitates the use of the flywheel/ring gear from the automatic GM Chevrolet LS variant.
