The custom aluminum flywheel by PMC Motorsport is engineered for compatibility between the Toyota JZ series engines and BMW Getrag/ZF manual gearboxes. This flywheel is specifically designed for Toyota 1JZ (non VVT-i/VVT-i), 1JZ-FSE, 1JZ-GE, 1JZ-GTE, 2JZ (non VVT-i/VVT-i), 2JZ-FSE, 2JZ-GE, and 2JZ-GTE engines.

It is compatible with ZF (ZF Friedrichshafen) transmission models including:

• S5-39 GS5-39DZ 5-speed
• GS5-39DZ THBA
• THBM
• THBG
• THBK
• THBC variants

These are typically found in BMW M57 E39 530D, 525D, and E46 330D vehicles.

The flywheel is meticulously balanced and features a clutch shaft pilot bearing to mitigate vibrations, along with a replaceable friction surface. Constructed from both aluminum and cast iron, the component has a weight of 5.00 kg (11.02 lbs) and a diameter of 240 mm (9.45").

It is compatible with either the Sachs Performance 88 308 200 1243 or Sachs XTend 3000 951 877 (BMW M57) clutch pressure plates. The required clutch disc is specified as BMW ZF GS5-39DZ 5-speed 28X35-10N with a 240 mm (9.45") diameter.

Installation necessitates:

• A starter (not provided)
• A flexplate/ring gear/drive plate (Toyota OE 32101-30090 | 32101-22050 plus one spacer OE 32116-22020 of 4.5 mm thickness)
• Flywheel bolts must be secured with a tightening torque of 72Nm plus adhesive

The installation set includes:

• Clutch cover and pressure plate bolts kit
• Crankshaft bolts kit
• Flywheel centering sleeve
• Custom clutch fork pivot pin/ball
• Custom flywheel

Additionally, a gearbox adapter F0BMW-JZ is required.
