The PMC Motorsport short shifter is engineered for installation in BMW 3 Series E9x and 1 Series E8x, accommodating all body models. It enhances gear-shifting speed and precision and is compatible with all manual transmissions from GETRAG and ZF installed in BMW vehicles, including models Getrag 250, 260, 420, and ZF5 GS6 GS6.

This plug-and-play shifter is designed for installation without requiring modifications to the vehicle's tunnel structure. Constructed from high-quality aluminum, the shifter offers durability, lightness, and resistance to corrosion, ensuring long-term aesthetic and functional integrity.

The shifter lever features an M20x1.5 thread, with anodized aluminum knobs that are easily replaceable. An adjustable selector rod is available separately, tailored for gearbox swaps. This rod is compatible with all BMW manual gearboxes, including:

• ZF models: GS5-39DZ, GS6-37 DZ/BZ, GS6-53 DZ/BZ, GS6-45 DZ/BZ
• Getrag models: 250, 260, 420

The rod allows for flexible length adjustment, facilitating adaptation in vehicles undergoing a swap to a BMW manual gearbox. It integrates seamlessly with PMC Motorsport short shifters for precise and dynamic gear shifting.

Designed for motorsport applications, this product should be installed by professionals. It is advisable to install stiffer gearbox and engine mounts to minimize drivetrain movement. Prior to installation, thoroughly clean the gear selector rod and lubricate the lower bushing of the shifter with grease.
