The PMC Motorsport custom aluminum flywheel facilitates the integration of the Toyota 1JZ and 2JZ engines, including both non VVT-i and VVT-i versions, with the Mazda RX-8 gearbox. This flywheel is engineered for compatibility with the 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmissions of the Mazda RX-8.

Installation requires the use of the flywheel/ring gear from the automatic version of the Toyota 1JZ or 2JZ, with a 4.5mm spacer (OE 32116-22020) placed between the engine block and the ring gear, which is not included in this kit. The starter motor remains the original Toyota 1JZ or 2JZ component. The crankshaft hub bearing from the automatic version JZ must be removed and replaced with a centering sleeve provided in the kit.

Included in the set are the crankshaft bolts kit, clutch cover-pressure plate bolts kit, and clutch fork support/pivot pin. A gearbox adapter (F0RX8-JZ) is necessary for installation.
