The PMC Motorsport custom aluminum flywheel is engineered to facilitate the integration of the Toyota JZ 1JZ 2JZ engines with the Mazda RX-7 manual gearbox (5-speed FD model). Constructed from high-grade certified aluminum materials, this flywheel ensures exceptional durability and performance.

It includes a replaceable friction surface and necessitates the use of a gearbox adapter (F0RX7-JZ) for proper installation. This component is compatible with both non VVT-i and VVT-i versions of the Toyota JZ, 1JZ, and 2JZ engines.

For optimal performance, it is recommended to use the LUK 624 3297 09 clutch pressure plate in conjunction with the clutch disc from the LUK 624 3297 09 OE LUK 324 0430 10 kit. Installation requires a Toyota JZ OE starter without an additional pinion cover. Additionally, a flexplate/ring gear/drive plate with part numbers Toyota OE 32101-30090 or 32101-22050 is required, along with a 4.5mm spacer OE 32116-22020 situated between the engine block and the flexplate.

• The flywheel has a mass of 4.6 kg (10.14 lbs) and requires a tightening torque of 72Nm, utilizing adhesive for securing the flywheel bolts.
