The PMC Motorsport adapter kit facilitates the integration of Toyota JZ engines—specifically models 1JZ and 2JZ, encompassing both non VVT-i and VVT-i variants—with manual ZF gearboxes from BMW. This kit is compatible with the GS6-45DZ and GS6-37DZ 6-speed transmission models. It supports Toyota engine variants such as the 1JZ-FSE, 1JZ-GE, 1JZ-GTE, 2JZ-FSE, 2JZ-GE, and 2JZ-GTE.

This configuration allows for the conversion from an automatic to a manual transmission, leveraging the robustness and reliability of BMW's gearboxes, which are capable of managing torque outputs exceeding 1000Nm, thereby fitting high-power vehicles for both daily and motorsport applications.

The adapter kit comprises:

The flywheel accommodates a single disc with a 240mm/9.45" diameter friction plate. The recommended clutch pressure plate is the SACHS XTend 3000 951 933 (N47), with a clutch disc suited to the gearbox, featuring a spline size of 26.5x29-22N and a spline count of 22.

Installation requires a release bearing, clutch fork, and clutch slave cylinder specific to the gearbox. The applicable starter is the Toyota JZ (OE) without an additional pinion cover. The flexplate/ring gear/drive plate specifications are Toyota OE 32101-30090 or 32101-22050, with an essential spacer OE 32116-22020 4.5mm to be positioned between the engine block and the flexplate.

Manufactured using certified materials and precision CNC machining, the kit ensures impeccable alignment and quality, validated by the ISO PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 certification. The gearbox adapter measures 20mm/0.78" in thickness. It is imperative to secure the flywheel to a torque specification of 72Nm or 53.1 ft·lb with adhesive.
