Lightweight Flywheel for BMW Engines

This lightweight flywheel by PMC Motorsport is engineered for BMW petrol engines M50, M52, M54, S50, S52, S54, and the diesel engine M57 (M57D30 306D1). It is compatible with BMW models E36 (including M3), E46 (including M3), E34, E39, E38, Z3, and Z4.

The flywheel is specifically designed to accommodate the clutch pressure plate from a BMW M57 530D, with the recommended options being:

• SACHS XTend 3000951877
• Sachs Performance 883082.001243

The flywheel supports the use of original equipment (OE) clutch discs that match your specific gearbox. It features a replaceable friction surface with a cast-iron insert, ensuring durability and an extended service life. Additionally, the flywheel includes a genuine BMW starter ring gear, maintaining the same hardness as factory BMW dual-mass flywheels for optimized reliability.

Each unit is precisely balanced prior to shipping to guarantee optimal smoothness and performance. The lightweight design, weighing only 5,700 g (12.9 lb), represents a significant reduction of approximately 70% compared to stock, facilitating faster throttle response. The flywheel is constructed from high-quality aluminum and has a friction plate diameter of 240mm (9.45").
