The PMC Motorsport adapter kit facilitates the integration of a Mercedes-Benz V8 M156 AMG engine with a manual BMW gearbox. Compatible with several BMW manual transmission systems, this kit supports the ZF 5-speed (ZF Friedrichshafen S5D-310, S5D-320) and the Getrag 420G 6-speed gearboxes, prevalent in BMW E series models such as the E36, E46, and E39.

The kit includes a custom aluminum flywheel featuring a 240mm / 9.45" interchangeable friction disc, compatible with either the BMW M57 or BMW E46 M3 pressure plate. Note that this kit is not suitable for M50, M52, M54, S50, or E36 M3 engines.

This adapter kit is engineered to handle substantial torque, with ratings of 900Nm / 663.58lb⋅ft and 1300Nm / 958.5lb⋅ft, making it ideal for high-torque applications. The flywheel, optimized for motorsport disciplines such as drift and time attack, is also appropriate for everyday use. Each flywheel is rigorously checked and balanced prior to dispatch, and the kit includes all essential mounting bolts for installation.
