The PMC Motorsport Lightweight Custom Aluminum Flywheel is engineered for optimal performance with Toyota JZ series engines, specifically the 1JZ and 2JZ models. This flywheel is compatible with the Toyota Altezza / Lexus IS200 equipped with the J160 Aisin AZ6 gearbox (first generation, 1G-FE).

It is precisely manufactured from lightweight aluminum, weighing 5.60 kg (12.35 lb), and features a diameter of 240mm (9.45 inches). Designed for both non-VVT-i and VVT-i variants of the Toyota JZ engines, it supports models including:

• 1JZ-GTE

• 2JZ-GTE

This flywheel is tailored for manual transmission applications and necessitates the use of the flywheel/ring gear from the automatic version of the Toyota 1JZ 2JZ, along with a spacer (OE 32116-22020 4.5mm) between the engine block and the ring gear. The original equipment Toyota 1JZ 2JZ starter remains applicable, and it is essential to replace the crankshaft hub bearing from the automatic version JZ with a centering sleeve included in the kit.

For optimal performance, the recommended clutch pressure plate is the Sachs 3000 950 742, which incorporates the necessary clutch disc and release bearing. Installation specifications require a tightening torque of 72Nm, utilizing glue for securing the bolts.
