During installation, the steering rod and tie rod end should be shortened by 1 centimeter; however, the vehicle's bodywork remains intact.

Depending on knuckle wear and variations in castings, it may be necessary to shorten the bolt securing the adapter to the knuckle to prevent contact with the shock mounting bracket.

These adapters are designed for compatibility with Meyle ball joints to specified cone dimensions.

Variations in machining tolerances among different manufacturers may result in the ball joint mounting thread protruding from the adapter, potentially preventing secure bolting.

In such cases, a washer can be used to space the nut appropriately.
