PMC Motorsport has developed an adapter kit engineered to facilitate the integration of Toyota JZ engines (1JZ, 2JZ) with the ZF manual transmissions (ZF Friedrichshafen) commonly found in BMW vehicles. This kit is tailored for motorsport applications, offering compatibility with a range of BMW models, including:

The comprehensive kit comprises:

• A gearbox adapter plate
• A custom flywheel
• Crankshaft bolts
• A clutch kit (Sachs XTend 3000 950 709)

The twin-disc flywheel, with a diameter of 215mm (8.46 inches), is constructed from a combination of aluminum and cast iron, featuring a replaceable friction surface. It is capable of withstanding a maximum torque of 700Nm (516.12 lb⋅ft). The design of the adapter ensures precise coaxial alignment between the engine and transmission.

Compatible transmissions include the ZF GS6-53DZ series, identified by codes HGU, HGK, HGW, and HGL, which are renowned for their robust durability and reliability, supporting torque levels exceeding 1000Nm.

This kit is exclusively designed for motorsport usage and should be installed by qualified professionals. Manufactured in Poland, this product adheres to the ISO PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 certification standards and is meticulously balanced prior to shipment. A pilot bearing for the input shaft is included to ensure optimal performance.
