The PMC Motorsport short shifter is engineered for BMW E36 and Z3 models, supporting all body variants and designed to enhance gear shifting speed and precision. It is compatible with all manual transmission models, including Getrag 250, 260, 420, and ZF5 GS6 GS6, ensuring a plug-and-play installation without the need for modifications to the vehicle's tunnel structure.

Constructed from high-quality aluminum, this shifter offers durability, lightness, and resistance to corrosion, maintaining both aesthetic appeal and functional integrity over time. The shifter lever is finished with an M20x1.5 thread and comes equipped with replaceable anodized aluminum knobs.

An adjustable selector rod, sold separately, is tailored for gearbox swaps and is compatible with all BMW manual gearboxes, including:

• ZF models GS5-39DZ, GS6-37 DZ/BZ, GS6-53 DZ/BZ, GS6-45 DZ/BZ
• Getrag models 250, 260, and 420

This rod facilitates flexible length adjustment, accommodating vehicle swaps to a BMW manual gearbox.

This shifter is specifically designed for motorsport applications and should be installed by qualified professionals. It is advisable to utilize stiffer gearbox and engine mounts to reduce drivetrain movement. Prior to installation, ensure the gear selector rod is thoroughly cleaned and the lower bushing of the shifter is appropriately lubricated with grease.
