The PMC Motorsport short shifter is engineered for use in BMW 3 Series E9x and 1 Series E8x, compatible with all body models. It enhances gear shifting speed and precision and is suitable for manual transmission models featuring GETRAG and ZF systems, including Getrag 250, 260, 420, and ZF models GS5, GS6.

The shifter is designed for plug-and-play installation, requiring no modifications to the vehicle's tunnel structure. Constructed from high-quality aluminum, the shifter offers durability, lightness, and resistance to corrosion, ensuring both aesthetic and functional longevity.

The shifter lever includes an M20x1.5 thread, with the option of replaceable anodized aluminum knobs. Additionally, an adjustable selector rod is available, tailored for gearbox swaps. This rod is compatible with all BMW manual gearboxes, including:

• ZF models GS5-39DZ, GS6-37 DZ/BZ, GS6-53 DZ/BZ, GS6-45 DZ/BZ
• Getrag models 250, 260, 420

This component is designed explicitly for motorsport applications and should be installed by qualified professionals. For optimal performance, it is advisable to use stiffer gearbox and engine mounts to minimize drivetrain movement.

Prior to installation, ensure the gear selector rod is thoroughly cleaned, and apply grease to the lower bushing of the shifter for lubrication. Manufactured in the EU, each unit is engraved with a production Seriesl number, certifying its quality with the ISO PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
