The PMC Motorsport aluminum adapter kit facilitates the integration of BMW V8 M62 and S62 engines with the automatic ZF 8HP gearbox series (ZF Friedrichshafen) from BMW. It is specifically engineered for motorsport applications on racetracks and should be installed by qualified professionals using the appropriate tools in a suitable workshop environment.

This kit includes:

• An aluminum gearbox adapter
• Gearbox adapter bolts
• A torque converter adapter
• A crankshaft bolts kit
• A crankshaft position sensor adapter

The gearbox adapter and flywheel are constructed from aluminum and cast iron, ensuring full recyclability.

Installation requires the modification of gearbox tabs, with the gearbox adapter first affixed to the engine. The installation manual provides a fundamental diagram for coupling the engine with the gearbox externally to the vehicle. For right-hand drive (RHD) engines, a starter motor from the left-hand drive (LHD) version is necessary, along with modifications to the engine block plug. Additionally, a clutch set and specific BMW OE flexplate/ring gear/drive plate components are required.
