The PMC Motorsport STAGE 2 adapter kit is engineered for the integration of BMW V12 M70, S70, and M73 engine series with the BMW M57N and M57N2 ZF GS6-53DZ HGD JGA E60 525D, 530D 6-speed diesel gearbox. Designed specifically for motorsport applications, this kit facilitates the conversion from automatic to manual transmission systems.

It incorporates a twin-disc configuration with dimensions of 228mm / 8.98", and includes a SACHS 3000 951 019 clutch set. Manufactured using a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) environment and constructed from certified materials through CNC machining, the adapter kit features a replaceable cast iron friction surface. The flywheel is precision-balanced prior to dispatch.

The kit is compatible with the following BMW V12 engine configurations:

• BMW V12 M70 M70B50 (1987–1994 E32 750i/750iL, 1989–1994 E31 850i/850Ci)
• BMW V12 M73 M73B54 (1994-1998 E38 750i/750iL/L7, 1994-1999 E31 850Ci)
• BMW V12 M73 M73TUB54 (1998-2001 E38 750i/750iL/L7, 1999-2002 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph)

For the M73 engine, it is necessary to relocate the shaft position sensor to the engine's front, similar to the BMW M70. The adapter is compatible with the European version of the M70 engine. For the M70 RHD engine, modification of the adapter or substitution of the starter with the European version may be required.

The gearbox compatibility comprises:

• BMW M57N M57N2 23.00 7522205 GS6-53DZ HGD (THGD) 6-speed
• BMW M57N M57N2 23.00 7565218 GS6-53DZ JGA (TJGA) 6-speed

Installation necessitates the use of the flywheel/ring gear from the automatic model and the flywheel should be fastened to the original equipment (OE) torque specifications. This kit, made in the EU and holding an ISO certification, includes:

• An aluminum gearbox adapter
• Gearbox adapter bolts
• A custom flywheel
• Crankshaft bolts kit
• Clutch cover-pressure plate bolts kit
• The clutch kit Sachs 3000 951 019

The gearbox adapter maintains a thickness of 25mm / 0.98" and supports a maximum torque of 700Nm / 516.12 lb⋅ft.
