The PMC Motorsport short shifter is engineered for installation in BMW E30 and E34 models, across all body variants, to provide enhanced and precise gear shifting. It is compatible with all manual transmission models equipped with GETRAG or ZF gearboxes, including Getrag 250, 260, 420, and ZF5 GS6 GS6.

The shifter is designed for plug-and-play installation, requiring no modifications to the vehicle's tunnel structure. Constructed from high-quality aluminum, the shifter ensures durability and a lightweight build, providing reliable performance under all conditions. The corrosion-resistant properties of aluminum offer both longevity and sustained aesthetic appeal.

The shifter lever is threaded with an M20x1.5 pitch and is compatible with interchangeable anodized aluminum knobs.

For gearbox swaps, an adjustable selector rod is available, compatible with all BMW manual gearboxes, including:

• ZF models GS5-39DZ, GS6-37 DZ/BZ, GS6-53 DZ/BZ, GS6-45 DZ/BZ
• Getrag models 250, 260, 420

This adjustable component allows for precise length adjustment, facilitating its adaptation to vehicles undergoing manual gearbox swaps. It integrates seamlessly with PMC Motorsport short shifters, contributing to enhanced gear shift precision and responsiveness.

Please note, the adjustable selector rod is not included in the short shifter kit and must be purchased separately. It is recommended to install stiffer gearbox and engine mounts to reduce drivetrain movement. This product is intended for motorsport applications and should be installed by qualified professionals.

Prior to installation, ensure the gear selector rod is thoroughly cleaned and lubricate the lower bushing of the shifter with grease.
