The short shifter is engineered for seamless installation in BMW E30 and E34 models across all body types, enhancing gearshift speed and precision. It is compatible with all manual transmission models from GETRAG and ZF, including Getrag 250, 260, 420, and ZF5 GS6 GS6.

The shifter features a plug-and-play design, allowing installation without modifications to the vehicle's tunnel structure. Constructed from high-quality aluminum, this shifter is designed to provide comfort and confidence during gear shifting in all conditions. The aluminum construction ensures durability and lightness, with inherent corrosion resistance for sustained aesthetic and functional performance.

The shifter lever is equipped with an M20x1.5 thread, allowing for the attachment of replaceable anodized aluminum knobs.

An adjustable selector rod, also known as a linkage, connecting rod, guiding rod, or fork rod, is available separately. This rod is compatible with BMW manual gearboxes, including ZF models such as:

• GS5-39DZ
• GS6-37 DZ/BZ
• GS6-53 DZ/BZ
• GS6-45 DZ/BZ

and Getrag models such as:

• 250
• 260
• 420

The adjustable rod allows for flexible length modification to suit various gearbox swaps, ensuring optimal compatibility when transitioning to a BMW manual gearbox.

Please note that the adjustable selector rod is not included in the short shifter kit and is sold separately. For optimal performance, the installation of stiffer gearbox and engine mounts is recommended to minimize drivetrain movement.

This product is specifically designed for motorsport applications and should be installed by professionals. Prior to installation, ensure the gear selector rod is thoroughly cleaned and the lower bushing of the shifter is lubricated with grease.
