Hidden Handbrake BMW E9X

Vertical ReverseLab hydraulic handbrake with a removable lever, designed for all BMW 3 Series E9X models: E90, E91, E92 and E93.

The product is compatible with both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles. The base allows the handbrake body to be installed in four different positions, enabling the driver to choose the configuration best suited to their driving position.

Installation uses the vehicle’s original body holes and does not require welding, drilling or the creation of new mounting points. The kit is designed to minimise modifications to the original interior components.

The lever can be unscrewed and quickly removed, making the handbrake barely visible when it is not in use.

The body position is physically selected during installation. The base provides four mounting configurations for the different LHD and RHD driving positions.

To conceal the handbrake body correctly beneath the original trim panels, part of the lower section of the storage compartment or centre ashtray must be trimmed. This modification affects the interior trim only and not the body mounting points.

Choosing the master-cylinder bore:

• 0.625": provides longer lever travel, approximately 11 cm, and requires less force to lock the wheels
• 0.7": provides shorter lever travel, approximately 7 cm, and requires slightly more force

ReverseLab recommends the 0.7" master cylinder for standard BMW 3 Series E9X models.

BMW M3 E9X note: ReverseLab recommends a 0.75" master cylinder for use with the original M3 brake calipers. This master cylinder is not included among the combinations available for this product: check the configuration before ordering for a BMW M3.

The replacement bracket for the storage compartment or ashtray, the rear air-duct closure and any electronic components for ABS management are separate accessories and are not included with the product.
