The PMC Motorsport lightweight aluminum flywheel is engineered to facilitate compatibility between Toyota JZ engines, including:

This ultralight race flywheel, measuring 184mm / 7.25" POT TYPE, is constructed from high-grade aluminum and weighs 3.40 kg / 7.50 lbs.

Designed for high-performance applications, it is suitable for both routine usage and advanced motorsport projects that demand durability and reliability. The flywheel features a replaceable friction surface, enhancing its longevity and serviceability.

Installation requires:

• A gearbox adapter (F0BMW-JZ)
• Specific clutch components, including:
  • Tilton OT-II Cerametallic Pressure Plate
  • Dedicated clutch disc
  • Release bearing
  • Clutch fork
  • Clutch slave cylinder

The flywheel is compatible with standard Toyota JZ starters without needing an additional pinion cover.

Additional installation requirements include:

• A flexplate/ring gear/drive plate with Toyota OE codes
• A spacer between the engine block and the flexplate

The product adheres to OEM reference codes:

• Bell housing 1067 401 161

It requires a tightening torque for flywheel bolts of 72Nm with adhesive. The flywheel is balanced prior to shipping and includes a pilot bearing for the input shaft to reduce vibrations.
