The PMC Motorsport Steel Arm/Tube is engineered for high-performance motorsport applications, offering robust functionality for suspension and steering systems.
This component features a double-threaded steel tube with M16x1.5 threads on both ends, providing adaptability for various adjustments and connections. The tube has an outer diameter of 25mm (0.99") and a wall thickness of 2.9mm (0.11"), ensuring superior strength and durability. The arm is powder-coated to resist corrosion, making it suitable for challenging environments.
The integrated Uniball joint is designed to be maintenance-free and corrosion-resistant, eliminating the need for rubber boots, and is capable of withstanding high static directional loads. Constructed from heat-treatable steel (25CrMo4 - 4130 - 1.7218) with a galvanic hard chrome coating, the housing offers enhanced durability. The bearing liner is injection-molded from Nylon with PTFE Teflon, while the ball is manufactured from hardened bearing steel (52100, 100Cr6, 1.3505, SUJ2, EN31) and coated with galvanic hard chrome.
This steel arm is ideal for constructing custom suspension links or adjustable control arms, providing exceptional strength and reliability. It supports:
The arm length is 340mm (13.39"), with an adjustment range from 414mm to 440mm (16.30" - 17.32"). This component is part of the PMC Bearing RS Performance Series.
