The PMC Motorsport RS-Series Rod End / Uniball End with a left external male thread (M22x1.5) is a precision-engineered mechanical component optimized for applications necessitating accurate and smooth load transfer, such as in steering, suspension, and joint systems.

This rod end is characterized by a maintenance-free, corrosion-protected design, eliminating the need for rubber boots and enabling lubricant-free operation, thereby minimizing maintenance requirements and associated costs. It is adept at handling substantial directional loads and offers resilience against severe weather conditions, ensuring durability in demanding environments.

Constructed with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), the rod end provides low friction, high-temperature resistance (-50°C to +150°C), chemical resistance, and superior electrical insulation. The housing is fabricated from heat-treated steel (25CrMo4 - 4130 - 1.7218) and features a galvanized coating (hard chrome). The bearing bushing is crafted through injection molding with Nylon infused with PTFE, while the ball is constructed from bearing steel (52100, 100Cr6, 1.3505, SUJ2, EN31), and is hardened with a galvanized coating (hard chrome).
